summer concert series

Our beloved summer concert series is back for 2024! We are excited to host four concerts this year thanks to our generous sponsors. These four events are FREE and open to the public. Bring your own chairs and blankets. No carry ins allowed.

Food will be available from King’s Catering; beverages also available to purchase. Each date a different local nonprofit will guest bartend. Be sure to show them your support!

If it rains, don’t fret, we will just move the party indoors!

JULY 24: THE 5 CARD STUDS | 7-9 p.m.
The 5 Card Studs are a group of veteran players whose diverse backgrounds combine to bring subtlety and precision to top 40 A.M. Gold hits and forgotten favorites. Their love and respect for music’s artistic anomalies comes through in their deftly-executed renditions of songs whose performers you might not remember but the tunes you will.

They reach back to early years of rock and roll and hit all the strong points coming forward: sixties pop and soul, seventies rock, funk and disco as well as yacht rock favorites.

The Studs pride themselves on their attention to detail with guitar sounds meticulously worked out, string and horn parts not ignored, and vocals — well you need to see it to believe it! There’s a reason this band opens for legends when they come through town.

AUGUST 7: THE DAVE STEFFEN BAND | 7-9 p.m.
Dave Steffen knows hard traveling. He ought to. He's found the road a companion for thirty years. During this time Dave has played in clubs from Hawaii to Pound, Wisconsin, bringing his signature style of blues rock to thousands of people across America.

Born and raised in Wisconsin, Dave began playing guitar as a young boy, showing unusual talent even at a very early age. By the time he left high school, his band was signed to Scepter Records. Within five years, he had also released recordings with RCA and Mercury Records. His talent as a songwriter and singer, in addition to his prowess as a guitar player, earned Steffen and his band special recognition in Billboard and Cashbox magazines and the Gavin Report.

Dave continued to play venues in Wisconsin, opening for such national acts as Rush, Boston, Styx, and REO Speedwagon, as well as headlining his own shows.

AUGUST 21: MT. OLIVE | 7-9 p.m.
The audience is packed, the band fires up, and the crowd starts singing along with some of the best high-powered rock tunes from today and recent decades. Mt. Olive, a Milwaukee-based premier top-drawing festival band since 1994, is at it again keeping the crowd energized and bartenders ringing the till.

Expect high-flying vocal harmonies, blazing guitar solos, driving bass lines, chest-thumping drums, and top-tier production. We're taking the show to the next level and we're bringing you with us!

We're all about bringing people together and enriching our community by hosting a variety of events that keep Oak Creek and its neighbors connected and vibrant. As a self-funded nonprofit separate from the city, we depend on event rentals and community donations to help us strengthen bonds and be a trusted partner in uniting all residents.
